Hi everyone. I am looking to get a new PW for commercial flat cleaning. I currently have a cold water 3500 psi 4gpm that i use for residential. I was wondering whaty would be the best pressure washer. I have been looking at pressure tek and waas wondering what yalls opinions on them were and what other good brands are out there. Thanks for the input.

I like the pressure washers from Delco, whenever I buy a new machine, they are where I have found what I consider the best machines, that are easy to work on. They are one of the few where you could actually change an unloader without having to take something else off to get at it. I can also repack a pump head without taking anything off. It makes it really easy to service. Their website, as hokey as it is, is www.dcs1.com

my budget is around 14000 but i can play a little bit.

What is you towing capability?

What size of tank are you looking for?

What is your maximum length of trailer you would not want to go over?

Does that budget include reclaim and or recycle?

How important is local dealer/builder support to you? (you can repair or troubleshoot yourself)

For that current budget you could have an awesome rig.
Possibly tandem units.

Big question is What kind of work are planning on doing?

I thought you said "commercial flat cleaning" above.

Did not mean to riddle you with questions, just wanted to know some more of your parameters.

But I guess I did not answer any of your direct posted questions.

I had my rig built by BCE Systems, you could give them a call, along with some of the other names PWI members mentioned. (All mentioned are good)

I purchased from BCE because they were very tolerant with me in the pre-purchase phase (not that the other manufactures were not, it just worked out at the time that they were meeting my needs best). I also modified my rig many times during construction(it cost but they did it, when it could have been facilitated.)

One last question, what would be your "ideal", commercial flat cleaning rig, (in you head)?

Well as far as towing capability I have no problems, i have an f-550, so weight will not be a problem.

I was looking for something around 500 gallons

I was thinking around 16ft

As ar as reclaim I was planning on building my own reclaim unit because i can do it for cheaper.

I can repair alot by myself with a little direction.

You can build a reclaim system cheaper. With a $14k budget, we can all help you set up a heck of a system...

Time to go shopping.

16 ft trailer, with 10k gvw ~$2500
500 gallon water tank ~600
225 recovery tank ~375
35 gallon soap tank ~150
2 Hose reels. ~400 (I prefer Cox)
Pressure washer ~5995 (delco RK45h with a 20 hp Honda, though I special order Kohlers)
Vacuum 100% duty ~600
Miscellaneous ~800
Cost APP ~12800

Mind you a lot of these prices are shopping for the best price.
