Adjusting water pressure...

Retarded question :(

But gotta ask since my machine/trailer is in another state in storage at the moment and wanted to know where on most machines do you adjust water pressure?

My machine is a 5gal min 3000psi vanguard and only need it to run around 700 psi for decks and vinyl siding..

Just change tips. A larger nozzle orifice will lower pressure.

Tips or dual Lance wand

Your specs of 5 gpm and 3000 psi needs a tip orifice of 6 according to a tip chart. To lower your pressure to 1000 psi you need a size 10, and for 500 psi your size is 15. Another way to change pressure is to use a Dual-Lance Wand. You won't need to change tips, and you can go from very low pressure to your max. pressure with just a wrist turn of a valve. When working wood this is great. Come down the stairs at 500 psi, then do the concrete pad at the bottom with 3000 psi and never stop! That's versatility.

I couldn't imagine working without a dual lance. They are worth the extra few dollars.
