A Request for statistics and/or ideas

I am looking for things to make our anniversary a little different.

One idea, I have solicited the help of our children (I want them involved) is to gather data of things with less longevity. such as the median marriage longevity is 7.2 years. Or the average life of an !@# ins only 16.7 years...

She has stuck with me 20 years, come December.

Your just a newly wed. :)

Ok idea's here, contact her parentgs and other family members and get pictures of her from day one to present, have them enlarged and put them up around the room you are going to have your party in, if going out at the restaurant then hire a limo to take you two there.

Wisk her away for a 3 or 4 day second honeymoon to a place she has never been but always wanted to go!

If on a budget clean the entire house including laundry and dishes and cook the meal, oh you do that already, oh well then do the yard work for her instead.

Plan a surprise party, ok that is not a new idea but if done right can truly work.

Thanks Jon, We are planning to have a party, and I am looking into 'someplace warm' to take her. I am intending to present the Longer than idea at the get together in front of everyone.

'Kidnap' her! I did that on our 25th, almost 20 years ago. Told her we were to meet friends at the airport. Our friends played along. Acutally got seated in the airplane under the guise of 'looking' at the interior. She didn't know it was planned until we were in the air on the way to Mexico! Might be a bit harder today given the security issues - perhaps a private chartered flight?
