I completed my first ever mailing today. 120 of 2500 postcards i have no mailing list. What are my options? How do i increase my chances of success on the cheap?

mailing lists can be found by public records for free.
Google maps can be a helpful tool of sorts. Use technology in creative ways and it should be useful in saving some money.
I have been doing my homework and I have compiled some data to custom market to specific areas. I plan on starting the campaign in the 1st quarter of 09 when the budget can support it.

If you see a house that needs to be cleaned or a roof that needs to be cleaned, jot down the address and look it up on your county's assessors website.
You can look up any name/address and send them out a postcard/letter addressed to the name of the person that pays the bills.

y don't u just go nock on the door if you that close to a dirty house,if there not home put a flyer on there mailbox!! thats what i do!! but right now i'm getting alot of people saying they cant afford it!! but hell don't listen to me i'm a rookie at this!! DAMN I WISH I NEW HALF OF WHAT RON,RUSS,CHRIS......NEW!!!! i guess it will come with time!!!
