I have one of those bag filters.
They are not bad but I wish they made them a lot larger, like a few times bigger so you can go longer before cleaning them or have a "Y" or "T" there with a couple of them there so when one gets full you can still keep going.
I had it clog quickly on restaurant cleaning so we had to stop a lot and clean it out.
It is a great idea, just wish they would make them a lot larger so you can run longer before stopping to clean them.
That comes from the carpet cleaning world. they do make bigger one chris check some of the carpet cleaner boards.
That is almost the same thing Carlos, the one I have has a latch on the side to open it up to take the bag out to empty it, probably the same manufacturer.
I did get it from one of those carpet cleaning supply houses.
what the hec is he cleaning, or should I say "grinding???? He is on one spot..... and so close to the surface
I don't know which is better, the latch or screw top lid as I have heard the carpet cleaning guys complain about the latches breaking off and on the other side, I have heard about guys complaining about the threads getting a little bit dirty and they will not screw closed so I don't know which is better.
The latch is holding up good but it is not being used as much as the carpet guys would be using it daily on multiple jobs so I don't know.
The good thing is that they sell the replacement parts at a couple supply houses I found.
They even have different ends so if you have the quick disconnect fittings on the 2" vacuum hose (forgot the name of the brand that the carpet cleaners use), they can sell you the filter with those fittings on it so the hose will not come off when the hoses move a little bit and they can sell it to you with the larger 2.5" fittings also if needed.
Maybe we can compare notes in Vegas.....
