JOHNSTON, Iowa -- Crews were called to a fire at Cactus Bob's BBQ Corral on Merle Hay Road in Johnston Tuesday morning.
Employees were inside when they smelled smoke and spotted fire within the ductwork and called for help at 6:45.
Fire officials said the fire was in the ceiling. Crews had to cut a hole in the roof to get to the fire.
Crews put out the blaze by 7:15. No one was hurt in the incident. Officials are not sure what caused the fire.
The health department will inspect the restaurant before it opens.
