Today is a historical day.
Today I'm going to post in full support of something the police have done.
True liberals (not libertarians like myself) are whining about that nutcase in Florida getting shot while eating a man's face. They told him to stop and he continued the assault.
My belief is the cops did EXACTLY what they should have done. This was a guy who was in the process of killing another human being. This is exactly the one and only reason I believe cops should be armed at all. This is what they are paid for.
Additionally take a look at this story about how many people witnessed the attack and either did nothing or simply called the police. Meanwhile this innocent man was beaten and eaten for 18 minutes while they made their response.
This is why our founding fathers demanded (in many of our state constitutions) that each and every able bodied man be armed. Oh yeah, I said it, EVERY ABLE BODIED man of majority age was REQUIRED to be armed to protect themselves and everyone around them from this type of demonic attack. Some state constitutions required that every man have two pistols!
Yet this atrocity was witnessed by at least 5 people who were passive accomplices in this 18 minute attack.
Had I or anyone in our family seen this the attacker would have been dead within 30 seconds of our seeing it. We would just have to deal with whatever corrupt legal consequences come from it later. There is a higher responsibility than the law.
Anyway. Have fun reading this article. Imagine it's your mother on that sidewalk.
The police did the right thing in this instance. They just can't protect us. Only we can do that.
