I think if ya REALLY got it, why not capitalize on it ?
This picture on my brothers web site is very effective, showing a clean cut muscular Man holding a cute little Boy.
He gets LOTS of business from Women.
I made the web site for him, and placed this picture of him and my nephew on it, over his initial objections.
He wanted pictures of his 4 trucks instead.
It has proven very effective.
If you are musular yourself, why not just use YOUR real picture instead of a Logo ?
And if you are not, why use a Muscle Guy Logo at all ?

Yeah, I used to be muscular back in my Gym days.
Now, I'm basically a Fat Boy.
If I used a Muscle Logo, customers would be disappointed.

MY LOGO is the quality mobil wash man with the big head! The PICTURE is ME 6 years ago when I went for masters. I was Mr. Louisiana in 74 but tore a rotorcup in my right sholder after this picture so there went masters. And you are right, I use to get plenty house calls from women when I did houses, some wern't even dirty! I have gotten complaints recently from Sysco for washing in their yard with no shirt on. The complaint was the secetairies were at the window on the second floor instead of their desks. I am SLIGHTLY smaller now because of the injury taking so long to heal but am going for larger than the picture.
And Russ, you are right, they already know what they are going to see when they call, thats why most of them call!

Just so there is no misunderstanding this is my business card, no picture, no logo, just what we do. I have been using it for years so to reply to what you said, the customer has no idear what they are going to see until I arive. I never thought of using a picture thinking it would help get me business. Not a bad idear but don't need that now. If it works for your brother, and i'm sure it probally would especially in house cleaning, I think its a great idear. Wish I would have though of it years ago.

But most girls my age have kids from previous "hook ups", careers, etc, etc, etc.
Maybe I will join the "write a convict" program Kory ?
Find me one JUST getting released from Prison with NO life of her own, LOL
Maybe HER "baggage" will merely be a once a month Parole Officer, instead of Ex Husbands, Kids, Careers, Family, and GIRLFRIENDS

I was lucky enough to have my wife help me for years until some A-Hole ran into the back of her sitting at a red light and that ended that. She tried a couple of times since then but the pain wasn't worth it. The pulling if the hoses and working the gun was to much on her. At night she suffered to much. She still runs a crew for inside cleaning of postal vechiles. Guess she's part of the reason why the postal guys like to come out to help.
