You Can DIE Cleaning Roofs If You Fall

its true! it is a dangerous job!!! Im looking in to buying a lift and doing every roof job with one, I dont even like to get on a roof anymore!!

They are safer.
I was thinking about buying one, but the mix will RUST the boom.
This is one I like, we see them used go through the auctions all the time.
But IF and when they break, better bring the check book.
Hydraulic repairs can be mega bucks.

I very seldom get onto a roof anymore. The only ones I get on are the ones that are to flat for gravity to let the stuff flow easy and fast enough. But when they're that flat they're also relatively safe to be on. But the steep ones,...I just get to the top of the ladder and spray and let gravity take over. I can't even believe that two guys would be on the same chicken ladder like that anyhow. Just a shame for their families in such a preventable incident. Also, if you're uncomfortable with a situation, get out of it as soon as you can,.....the money isn't worth it.

Good for you Scott :)
I am done with my big azz house, and got pictures too!
But it is 4 pm here, and you guys all KNOW I am president of a Singles Group In Tampa, right ?
Well, it is our meeting night, several new members will be there.
I do not have time to post it right now, gotta wash the mix off me, shave again, and get ready.

I'm a new member and currently own a small light commercial and residential window cleaning/pressure washing business. I am wanting to expand the service to include roof cleaning. I don't want to start a new thread, but I have a question about using safety harnesses. Many of the houses in our area have very steep pitched roofs. What do you tie the safety rope to when there is not much on or around the house. I know ideally, as with this topic a lift would be the best solution, however, I am very small and need other solutions. If I can't do it safely, I won't do it!
Thanks Guys and you have a great forum.
