X-Jet or Extendable Wand??

Hi,

I'm a student so I want to minimise my expenses, should I go with an X-Jet or an extendable wand? Right now the x-jet seems cheaper, easier, and faster, but I'm not positive. some things with the x-jet...what if the high areas still need a large amount of pressure to blast away dirt? is the x-jet still powerful at higher reaches? and what do you do with the x-jet when you want to apply chemical to lower parts? AND can you use the x-jet without chemical? sorry some of these questions are basic but I'm learning.

Is there any situation where I would need a wand over an x-jet, or in my situation (student summer business p. washing) should I stick with the x-jet?

thanks a bunch

Yes, you can use the xjet without chemical.

There is a "close range attachment" for spraying things up close, it is about $11 and screws into the end of the xjet

I'm of the opinion that you need to have both of these tools for house washing. If I had to choose between one of the other, my decision would be based on how much I liked ladders.............if you dont have an extension wand, you're going to have to wash alot of the house from a ladder.

You can spray chemicals onto a house without an xjet, just not as quickly and easily. Without an xjet, you would use a downstream injector to spray the chemicals on the house. You could even downstream through your extension wand, but I think you need 3/8th hose on the extension wand for the downstreamer to work through it.

If you can swing both, do it.
