About Flue Steam
Flue Steam Inc. was founded in 1971 to fill a very specialized niche, which was being created via stricter enforcement by the local health and fire department officials. The authorities having jurisdiction over the operation of commercial cooking environments were starting to require that commercial kitchens become a safer place for employees and for their patrons. National codes had been in place for many years, but enforcement was lax at best. Flue Steam Inc. from its beginning, has been providing the services that were needed to reduce the risk of exhaust system fires.
Flue Steam Inc. is celebrating its 32nd year of providing quality service for restaurants and hotels in Southern California. We at Flue Steam are proud to be the "old guys on the block" in the fire protection business. We have been doing it better, and for longer than any other company in the industry in Southern California. Many things have changed in the past 32 years, and Flue Steam has made changes to keep you and your kitchen up to date with the current technology and codes.
