I recently had a similar situation. I support your push back and appreciate your posts on the boards. I have never had a problem about being outspoken on certain issues. In my case I was referring a company "in my opinion" who had better service BUT was a distributor of the same product and closer to the contractor! The manufacturer blasted me in the "contractors area" but never got back on the board and told the truth. I being professional , at the time let it go. Now, for all you folks reading these posts. Some of you guys make lot of money off of this industry and shame on the ones who like myself and Chuck whose opinions you may disagree with. There are a lot of manufacturers and distributors out there who ARE professional and very service friendly. The great things about these boards is there is an area for everyone , and I believe if someone has an "opinion" they should be able to express that pofessionally without fear of repercussion.
In conclusion, I feel (my opinion) it is always better to take the high road and be professional. You get much more respect and you don't get wrapped up in the negativity of others. I feel these are great forums to SHARE information FREELY and should not be discouraged by such "unprofessionals" This is in by no means a knock on all those companies(and there are many) who are very professional and a great asset to this industry.I am writing this in support of Chuck , myself, and others who may have had similar situations.If anyone would like to discuss this please call me 1-866-440-3325, again this is only MY opinion.
