Would you answer this poll the same????

may be too soon to tell... but the early indications are GOD AWFUL!!!

I swear that if this government get its way and starts on the road to European style nanny state, welfare state, nationalized healthcare it will be nothing but bad, bad, bad... it breeds an 'entitlement mentality' and is a backward way of rewarding many people for not contributing to society.

Citizens (and legal aliens) will have no choice but to pay higher taxes for services that they may never use, and for services that others will take advantage of and bleed dry.

All the rhetoric may sound good and look good on paper to the masses, but from experience, and evidence from europe - it just does not work in practice.... more BUREAUCRACY, bigger GOVERNMENT, higher TAXATION, less FREEDOM, higher NATIONAL DEBT....

I believe the backbone of the US is too strong to allow the crazy talk in Washington become reality... (here's hoping!!!)

We have let out monster I donnot think there realy is way to put them back in the have see were thing are going they getting in line for the bail outs. I ask you this who is going to be left holding that big bag you shit working people. The only way to fix this problem is by throughing out the old goverment start a new one.

Did a think it could be this simple ...

This was an article from the St. Petersburg Times Newspaper on Sunday. The Business Section asked readers for ideas on "How Would You Fix the
Economy?" I thought this was the BEST idea....I think this guy nailed it!

Dear Mr. President,
Patriotic retirement:

There are about 40 million people over 50 in the work force - Pay them $1 million apiece severance with the following stipulations:
1. They retire immediately. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.
2. They buy NEW American cars. Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed.
3. They either buy a house or pay off their mortgage - Housing Crisis fixed.

It can't get any easier than that!

P. S. If more money is needed, have all members in Congress and their constituents pay their taxes.

The only way we will get back anything close to what we had years ago is.

1. Vote every current federal politician OUT. Not matter Republican or Democrat.

2. Get term limits.

This won't happen since it would require the "government" to make the change.

So I vote #1

If things were only so black and white.

That would put $40 trillion into the economy and our dollar would be the least valuble in the world.

How about just letting people keep the money they make? Stop regulating emission standards in the auto industry and disband the UAW. And alot of other very simple things that I dont feel like typing. Ive typed them too many times.
