The one on the left is the old 2504, looks more like a 2506 now, wow, when I first started pressure washing I remember turning and turning the unloader because I would not get the pressure up....lol, I have lived and learn.

I just ordered a new pair of 2503 and 1503 nozzles. I seems that lately I have to walk slower than normal to get the concrete clean. This thread will make me compare my old vs new to see if I get a noticeable difference. Great Pics! :thumbup2:

Those look fine to me!
Very clean!!
Wonder why mine have grease all over them?

It stoped leaving the stripes and worked better huh.

the nozzles in the picture are two different brands.
the one on the left is a General pump nozzle.
the one on the right is a Spraying systems nozzle. It's not worn just a different design.
check out Lori's site http://www.pressurewasherproducts.com/Nozzles.html

In my opinion the orifice and pattern are all the same no matter what brand you have. The worn one has like 100 hours may be lil more, but they have been through a lot of rocks, sand and abuse..

Wow if yours are looking that bad after 100 hours I really need to check into ours as they get changed about every 4 months or so.

Nozzle doesn't look too bad to me, I have some wooorn nozzles but I have reserve in my setup so I just turn it up as they wear. I think spraying system nozzles (high pressure) are worthless.

I agree about the spray pattern they are the same. The nozzle on the left I think has a dual function, protection for the orifice and also the inner core could be pressed out to replace the worn orifice.

I believe the spraying systems nozzles offer more protection to the orifice as it is recessed further into the body of the nozzle... I think the SS nozzles hold up better.

Steven you may have missed this one

The best check would be to know what your pump head guage reads when you install new nozzles, and as the pressure decreases it may be an indication that the nozzle is wearing, then you do the volume test with the nozzle and a bucket.
