Hey guys got called today about trying to remove some spilt wood stain on a customers driveway. Happened last summer, so it has been there over a year. Is it possible to remove it? If so what would we use on it, caustic soda? Is it going to be difficult? Love some input here. I will try and get pictures from the customer of possible.

Its gonna be super hard to do depending on the type of stain it is. The pigment in the stain is probably absorbed into the concrete. Is it oil or water based?

We received a call about this yesterday. The stain they used was an oil based. It's been absorbing for about a day. Anyway to remove it?

Try using a solvent mineral spirits or Xylene and if it doesn't work try some degreaser/ hot caustic soda.

My guess is use both - Solvent first to dissolve then soap/degreaser to remove the solvent/stain. What you get on first try is probably it.

Really I would try the Soy Gel, it's hardly ever let me down.
