What do you guys think about servicing lawn mowers(spark plug, oil, air filter and blade sharping) for people? Of course this would be for us that have cold winter's. lol

I believe the area shop's get 70-90 per unit. I am sure it would take a few years to grow but the repeat percent should be very high. Just thowing it out there. I know a lot of us are always looking for something to do in the winter when it's 20 outside. Theres nothing like working on stuff in a warm shop instead of helping friends plow snow in cold weather.lol To those that work on websites, market, sell, ect on their business thats great......Figured this might fill in the extra time.........

Lou...I thought about that too. But I noticed my small engine guy was very slow every winter. The grass around here pretty much quits growing in Novemeber, although we are in the South. HIs busiest month of the year every year is February. Nov, Dec, Jab, hardly anything. Everyone seems to wait till they absolutely have to start cutting again.

That is the problem with maintinance work on lawn equipment. same for residential and commercial users.

What about snow plowing and Ice management?

Seems like snow plowing and ice dam management is a good money maker in areas where it snows.
