Winter is on the Way

I didn't know Nevada got cold. It's been chilly here today as well.
 
Yea Reno is 4500 Feet above sea level and where I am it's 5000 ft, I have about 30 ski resorts near by and we get real cold in the winter time here. I can't wash during Dec or Jan for the most part it way to cold unless you get a storm coming in that warms it up for the night.
 
WOW I see cold weather is good for you, I stay focused on Sweeping for about two months during the real cold periods here and will get a night or two of washing in before storms as the temps come up about freezing.

It's touch and go here for 1 to 3 months sometimes 4 depening on the winters.
 
Oh Nevada can get very cold! I was stationed at Fallon AFB for 3 months starting in January! I think I was colder there than I was in Norway! Very cold winds!
 
LOL Yes it gets very cold here at times and You were in Fallon so you know of the very thing I speak.
Most think on Las Vegas and don't know that we are at the base of the High Sierras here in the North and Yes we get Snow and cold some winter worse then others, last winter I had 2 feet of snow for about two months in my front yard, the whole month of Jan it snowed allmost everyday, but thats not normal, but cold is very normal here. Winds get Very Cold coming off the Mountains next to my house, they go up to about 11000 feet and the wind off of them will chill you to the bone.
