Looks like the kreem coat has been blasted away with that straight of line it had to be a surface cleaner powered by a pressure washer with too much pressure. I have seen some acid damage like this also where they put it on to long or too strong, but seeing the light lines on the left I will have to with the surface cleaner and to much pressure.

I'm having a hard time determining to which "damage" you're referring. Is it the pink hue or the light vs dark or the fine cracks. I think all three can be the result of the concrete not being properly cured.

Rainfall.

Wow! You got it Tony! Ron said only somebody from around Here would get it.

I would not have believed it unless I saw it in numerous places.

Here is a shot of a sidewalk with a six inch overhang

And a closeup of the damage there

Here is a long shot of the picture at the beginning of the thread.

Notice how the line follows the roofline. Even at the corners.

We thought it was just a bad pour too until we started seeing it everywhere. Noticed it first in Oregon.

We also discussed acid rain. But I looked it up and the highest recorded acid rain in the state is the equivalent to about a 430 to one mix of low grade muratic. That is not enough to cause the damage.

It can only be impact.

Here, where the trees slow down the impact there is no damage even though it gets just as wet.
