I was cleaning arby's last night. It is next to a motel.. After about 30 minutes of cleaning the lady from the motel comes over and says you have to stop cleaning because your machine is keeping everyone awake...

So since I got Plenty of Hose I moved to the other side of the building..
About 30 min more go by and my machine cuts off while I am in arby's .. I ran outside and 2 cop cars are in the parking lot one of the cops had turned my machine off..

This dufus wanted to talk about what I was doing, How much longer I was going to be ,,, Blah blah blah...

Finally they left ..

This two hour job took me 4 hours because of all of the crap..

Well anyway I got Finished and as I was leaving I noticed the two cops across the street watching me ..

I figured I would pull up to the motel and apologize for my loud machine.. The General Manager of the motel had made it in.. he said that's alright but next time could you do your cleaning during the day at arby's, when our motel is not so busy ... LOL ... ((( or get a quiter machine)))

I said sure ,, and Left ...

In 3 months I think I am going to put a freakin glasspack muffler on my Honda and see how they like that..

So anyhow I was leaving the motel entrance and a guy walks up to me and says since you kept me up all night I was wondering if you would do me a favor.. I said what do you need .. He said we have 2 dozers that need washing ( RENTALS )
I just Drove off I guess this guy wanted this done for free...

This is it I am Buying an enclosed trailer.. ( cuts down on the noise )

Anyway I have had 2 hours of saleep and now I am going to work to clean and paint concrete I will Check you all later

Take your machine to an exhaust shop and have them install a muffler. More and more towns are enforcing nighttime quiet laws

John, Like Fluesteam said, get a muffler. But a lot of the noise comes from the burner. That low rumble is like the bass drivers on a sound system. You can hear it a long way away because of the frequency, it penatrates right thru a wall. Be cool with the cops, they can be understandng of your plight of the hour you have to service Arby's. We did a simular job. But we were stuck between two hotels. If one side wasnt hollerin the other side was. But you are working in a commercial zone so there is a little more leaway as compared to residential.

We have an Arby's that we had to switch to daytime, (7:30am). I wish we had more job in the daytime. We actually have two crews that run in the day and three crews at night.

Good luck,
Rory
