Why Apple Sauce needs to be mixed in advance?

it can, but, Chris is not a pressure cleaner and doesn't have a hot water heater. So for him and others that have no onsite hot water it is easier to let it dissolve over night.

I put mine in a 5 gal. bucket and fill it up in the bath tub before I leave

If tsp powder is killing your pump you should find a different brand of pump. My pumps last over a year (no rinsing)before they start to act up. I have started rinsing them to see if there is any life difference. There are several ways to mix the tsp to dissolve it better. Hot water is good. You can mix it it before you leave the house/shop. It mixes better by using 2 5r buckets. Put hot water and tsp in 1 pail and pour it quickly into the empty pail. Do that a couple of times and it mixes well. You can also adjust your pickup hose a couple of inches off the bottom of your chem tank so you do not pick up any solids resting on the bottom

Most of us can't go out and get another pump when it sh*ts the bed, this is why I quit using the TSP/powdered anything.

I tried it on the very first roof I ever did and then I tried another roof without it, it cleaned the same and over several years, they both stayed clean, like about 4 years then the fungus started coming back.

I don't need it in my area, I know a lot of guys in Florida don't need it in their area either, maybe some do?

I like to keep it simple, keep it affordable, I use the Bandit with the Roller pump, have been for 2.8 years now and it still pumps strong.

I thought it was very funny and almost could not stop laughing.

Not everyone here uses that mix, actually most of the people I know don't use it at all, they use some of the ingredients, it does a great job, lasts for years and everyone is happy.

Again, I like to keep it simple and use what works for me.

I hear what you guys are saying about the TSP and other ingredients, but I looked at the MSDS of some of the better brand name cleaning chemicals and there must be a reason (hopefully scientific) why their chemist came up with TSP and other additives to their cleaning "detergents" notice I did not call it soap, ........just saying the chemistry is complex.

It was interesting reading, all the different MSDS

Now I understand why Paul from Envirospec made a statement about Dawn and House Washing the other day. Not trying to start nothin'

This is one of those topics that can be debated for months or years and nobody will win.

There are many of us that do not need to use the tsp, some like to use it but it is not advised to be used in some pumps, especially roller pumps. Bob warned people to not use the TSP in roller pumps as it does not mix easily and falls out of suspension easily and over time so it can be sucked into the pump and for those that use the bandit with the roller pump, that spells disaster.

I talked to Bob a lot and I listened to him about this and I am glad as my pump is still going strong. I use only some ingredients but no powders or granular chemicals of any kind, I just don't need them and my roofs stay clean for years. I don't see any reason to add things to the mix.

Anyone can do what they want, they can add everything to the mix if they want to, they can do all the experimenting that they want to, they can destry all the pumps that they can afford to, it is all up to them.

I like to use what works, is cost effective, gives good results and not try to re-invent the wheel if it does not need re-inventing.

This is my opinion, not the opinion of PWI.

Keep simple realy simple people do over think things you need just soap and 12% to wash with anything else push your cost up.
