Alright, so my new website is basically ready to be launched .... besides the video part.

It's in a section called "Video Message", and basically what I would like to do is have somebody record a video of me basically "talking" to the people on my website.

Since I have never been a good public speaker, and always hated speeches, I completly suck in doing them.

Anybody out there able to help me out?

As a matter of fact, I seem to not get past the line "Hello and thank you for stopping by, my name is Pat Heinl, Owner and Operator of Pressure-X Power Washing". After that, I just don't know what I could say. Any suggestions of what could follow?

I don't really want a whole speech or anything, just some ideas of what I could say.

Ladies and gentleman, hobos and aunts, crosseyed mosiquitos and bowlegged pants. I stand before to sit down behind you to tell you a story I know nothing about. One day two dead boys were up to bat, back to back but facing each other, pulled out their swords and shot each other. A deaf policeman heard the noise and came to see the two dead boys. If you don't believe my story is true, go ask the blind man, he saw it too.

There is my speech.:) If nothing else it will keep them entertained as they look over your site.

By the way, saw your site. What is an "economically friendly" chemical.

Oh hush, it has been fixed by now. I guess don't type while tired. Nice story by the way, too bad my customer base probably won't think the same :D

guys from south carolina. A little light in the loafers if you ask me, but still...

well even though you don't WANT it ill give you a short speech to give you an idea ... also practice this speech several times and say it to your wife/girlfriend or someone and practice your hand gestures and all that while you do it, people can hear the body language, dont talk like your talking into a voice recorder imagine actually talking to a potential client

"Hello my name is Pat Heinl, of PRESSURE(emphasis this word since it is the main part of your brand) power washing. I would like to welcome you to my website and would like to thank you for your interest in my company."

you could stop there and just make it a short and sweet greeting that way voice greeting isn't annoyingly long, and they get to hear your voice so that when talk talk to you over the phone it already feels like they somewhat know you

but if you want a longer message just continue with your first paragraph of your website

How you doin....

Thanks R3, I might just do that.

I still have to order a polo for my little "spotlight shot" lol. Queensboro requires a 4 piece minimum, I might just have to do that. But ima look locally first.

Or maybe I just wear a company t-shirt ... I dont know yet. But the site is done, beside that video that is, lol.

Ya Rudy you definitly like my website. Alot of the above is on my our company page.

Here it is
Hello, I am Jeff LeCours,
President of JL Pressure Washing Corp. Thank you for visiting our website.

Wow, I really feel like a jerk now. Jeff, to be honest with you, I never even looked at your website.

I got that from the grime scene forum probably last year, while I was asking for some contract samples, somebody sent me a 4 page contract telling me I can use it anyway I want, and that paragraph was actually the first line.

If I could only remember who that was, or around what time it was. I just spent about 20 minutes on TGS on the search function but couldn't come up with anything.

I'll be sure to change that asap on my forms and website just cause you've had it longer ;)

I really do apologize as I didn't know.
