I going to buy a new surface cleaner and wanted to know wich one of the 2 you would buy.30"mosmatic 3 arm or the big guy 3-4 arm and why. I have an 8gpm @ 3000psi P.W. but I am stuck between the 2.

I have not used the Mosmatic but I have a Big Guy and with my 8gpm machine, it is very good.

Most of the guys I know that have 8gpm's or more use the Big Guy because they are good to use, light-weight and the parts for them are inexpensive.

When I buy another 8gpm machine, my next surface cleaner will be another Big Guy.

I have an 8/3000 also and use a 2 arm Big Guy. Always wondered about more arms, but divide your gpm/psi by the number of arms and I would rather (I think) have the 2 arm. Big Guy seems to be the favorite of most. I promise, you will not be disappointed. Very durable and with your rig, you'll be able to work quickly.

One of the good things that I really like about the Whisper Wash is that their swivel for he Classic 19" is the same as the Big Guy 28" so if you use both machines, keep an extra swivel on hand and it will work with either.

That way if you are out in the field and the swivel goes out, just change it out, only takes like 10 minutes and you are up and running again.

Not sure if you guys know this or not but thought I would share it.

As many of you know, we use the Turbo Twister modified to clean parking garages. However, we have tested two side by side non motorized surface cleaners. The one was Hydro Tek ANT 28, with the other being the Steel Eagle 30 inch.

We found that the Steel Eagle cleaned faster and more aggressively than the Hydro Tek. This could be because of the swivel. The Steel Eagle was fitted with the optional Dueblin swivel with a 3 arm wand ( Nozzle size (3) 2.0 @15), where the ANT 28 had a different swivel with a 2 nozzle arm( Nozzle size (2) 3.0 @ 15).

Both surface cleaners were run at 5.8 GPM , 4300 PSI with 225 degrees, though both manufactures claim their units can do more GPM's and more heat, up to 250 degree's. We noticed that the Steel Eagle spun faster than the Hydro Tek, however, this could of been because of the extra arm and /or because of the different swivel used.

With that said, we bought the 30" Steel Eagle with the Dueblin swivel, 3 arm, for just over $800 with free shipping.

We wanted to test the Big Guy, but no vender's in our area had one to test.
