You wouldn't be wondering so much if you had logged on and seen where the company in question agreed to change their website (I don't know if that means they are going to change their name too) and the problem appears to be solved.
And no one died. The method worked.
The presence of the thread is no longer applicable so it's gone.
What's left to wonder about?

I think it is a grand conspiracy by the admin for thought control. Oh! Wait! I'm the admin, and I was surprised to see it gone. Maybe Russ got what he waslooking for andpulled the thread as part of the agreement with the guys that originally caused the issue. Seems like a reasonable thing to me, especially since some where promoting some very illegal actions in the thread. The person that made the post should probably be happy I did not see it, because he probably would have ended up on band camp with his buddy.

Scott, you'd better get a handle on Russ before he takes over the entire internet world. He's here, at TGS and the UAMCC. What's next? The Pentagon? The White House? Or, heaven forbid he takes over the Webkins site!!!

I agree the guy should have had a talking to, but I would have just did it and not came in here, but thats just me.
Either way it seems the problem has been taken care of. Do I think the post should have been removed? Not at all because in life we all need to learn to say only so much no matter how frustrated we are. Too many times we can goto the band and thats when things can escalate.
If there were things said off color in the thread and they are removed where will the warning of it be the next time it happens and oh yes..it will happen with someone again down the road. Its like when you get burned on a stove...the pain always goes away, but the memory of it is inside your own mind. Others can not see that, but its a warning to you. The scar left behind after the burn will be a warning to others...
Take or leave whatever you get from this post...it does not matter to me if you bump it, jump it, lump it or dump it...it is what it is...

Nope, we are not in the habit of removing posts. If we do, there is typically a darn good reason. Al, in my opinion, just likes to make it appear people are being picked on. There are only a few people I pick on, but I consider them friends, and they often return the favor.

In the future, no one will be given a voluntary ban, for any duration. That has been used in the past to make all the admin's of PWI look like henchmen. If a person wants to stay away, they need to man, or woman, up and do just that.

Scott, I really have never understood the "Self Imposed" bans, no disrespect to Al, but it seems kind of silly for somebody to ask for one.
