What size guage wire should I use for my delevan fatboy setup?

Im not sure if I am using the proper gauge size for my fatboy set up, wires tend to get a little hot? What size guage wire should I run to reduce the hot wires?

12 or lower.

I wouldn't use less than 10 gauge. Also, the shorter the wire, the better.

10 gauge would be best up to 10' 12 ga is ok for up to 5'
