What Power Washers Are The Baddest Dude's ?

Apple Roof Cleaning

Roof Cleaning Instructor
This is of course, JUST a humor thread.
But my vote goes to roof cleaners, of course!

Think about it, you GOTTA be crazy to even get up on some roofs we go on.
A fall can hurt worse then any man can hit you, so roof cleaners have NO fear.

Being fearless means not being afraid of a good fight, therefore adrenaline is not flowing.
Adrenaline will quickly make you tire out in a fight.
That's why good fighters are always calm.

Pulling big, heavy hose up roofs works the WHOLE body, legs included.

Since us roof cleaners are always getting chlorine in our eyes, we can take pain.

I would like to hear YOUR opinion who the toughest power washing guys are, and why.

iwill just agree since i am a roof washer but flatwork guys get my vote too
Flatwashers DO have great upper body strength Russ, but lack the leg strength and co ordination of roof cleaners ?

I am not sure how "fearless' they are either.
It takes a crazy mo fo to climb a steep roof:confused:

LOL, c'mon guys, I don't care which Pwashing field it is, let's not start talking about it like it's hod carrying or something. Equating upper body strength and flatwork, LOL?? No doubt walking roofs all day can be dangerous, but let's leave it there and not call it physically demanding. Tie rebar, haul hay, operate a Mexican Backhoe.....now you're talking physical demand.

Depends on what I am doing on a particular day.
If I want to bury a guy in work, I make him do fleets, and brush trailers. It will put the best man down.
If I want to get a guy scared to death, it is flatwork. Usually it is in the middle of the night, and you would be amazed at the crazy people that sneak up on you while you are working.
I have another Govt. contract that I do, that most of you could not, just because of circumstances, that is the scariest of all, and where you are constantly battling shelter deprived people. That is the scariest of all.

Well there is that. I am about due again. It has been 4 or 5 years since the last time.

Wow Scott!
Since I have never been a pressure washer, I never thought about working at night in "seedy" dark, parking lots, ALONE.

That takes balls too.

And you are right Scott, my heart breaks when I see homeless people, especially women and kids.

We need health insurance for every American, and to stop spending so much on stupid wars and other countries.

We need to close our borders, and take care of our own.

How about drive a battery truck, and deliver batterys all day ?
yeah, there is a lot more demanding stuff then what we do, for sure.

I use to deliver milk. 400 60 lb cases, and had to fingerprint every one.
I used to sort scrap metal at a utility. Linemen would pile all the garbage that they pulled down during recontruction of a line, and throw it in a palletainer. That is a basket about 3 feet tall and the size of a pallet. I had to hand lift every piece out and decide if it was salvageable or not. There was a lot of junk, and we had to be careful of mice, spiders and snakes (rattlers) that were chasing and got caught up in the basket.

I've had a lot of fun jobs.

If you want thrills spills and adventure how about working in the family business (not Tony Sopranos family either). Anytime there is kinfolk around there is going to be high drama even if your family is a bunch of accountants.lol. But at the end of the day it's all good.

Wash and stack 221 pallets and a dozen of Scott's Palletainers and tell me how you feel. I call it "Pallet House Gym". For training, I wash 8 at 3000 and use 1/2" 2 wire hose.

hey scott remember the post we had discussing how many times we had been shot at??????

Have you every been hit?
I have
