What nozzle for Delevan 5800 5/8

What nozzle do you fellas use? I use just a basic garden nozzle with the selector. I can't seem to get enough pressure though to spray high and the pump pulses sort off. I'm looking from something with a good spray pattern and maybe be able to switch between a big flat fan type spray to a long distance spray? Any ideas?

your going to want to go to http://www.pressuretek.com/potrgun12fpt.html.your then go down to trigger guns and find the polypropylene trigger gun. also going to want a j-rod holder and 4 different nozzles just ask bob for your four basic roof cleaning nozzles .

I did not care for Bob's aparatus. It leaked alot, and was not very comfortable to use. I use a $2.00 yellow plastic spray nozzle from Lowe's. There are 6 settings. I go through about 1 for every 7-8 roof tops.

I guess it just individual situations. I dont like the poly guns either. They all leak on me after a couple of weeks. I get plastic ball valves from HD or lowes and put a quick connect on it so I can siwtch between a 36" wand and a short one.

But def. get the Jrod with the 4 nozzles. Get the 0040 instead of the 0030, but stay with the 30 orifices for the other 3.

I used Bob's poly gun 07 fall and all season 08 and no leaks or problems but I rinse my hose and gun at the end of each day. I switched to a 1/2 Jrod since I only use 0040 and 2530 and they have been able to do 100% of the roofs I do. I didn't feel the need for 4 dif nozzles plus I don't have to look through my reading glasses to find the right nozzle to switch to. I'm a keep it simple guy. I did find out the hard way to not use plastic fittings to connect roof hoses etc. Also cut a few inches off each hose connection and re-clamp once in a while. I want to add these nozzles are used on a 1/2" line so that may make a difference.

Ya I was using the one that came with the delevan but I didn't like the big wand. I just took the rod out though and directly connected it to the trigger. Should give me more control and less tension on the wrist.

FYI~ You can go to Lowe's and get replacement wands that come in shorter lengths for the poly guns...I think I found them in the irrigation isle. I switched out the one that came with the gun for one that is about a foot long, much easier to control on a roof.

Thats right. I believe there 1/2" plastic riser pipes that are threaded on both sides. Great for a replacement or an extension to your setup.
