WET!!!

That company.....I will not post anything bad (which is true) about them. Momma always told me that if I can't say anything nice about someone then don't say anything at all so I am not going to say anything at all about wet. hahahahaha

Some here know what I went through when talking to them when I was first looking at a trailer rig. Wow, I could not believe that they were telling me what they did and I am glad that I did my homework so I could know that I should have been wearing my rubber boots the whole time I was in there.

Anyway, think about what they are saying about the water getting so hot that it will damage the pump..........Who has a skid unit and does not have a bypass back to the water tank?

Who would not have a bypass back to the tank??????

Sometimes it amazes me what you can read, is it SCARE tactics to get you to pick their machine or is it geared toward someone that does not know anything to SELL THEM?

Maybe they don't know that you can bypass to the water tank? I hope that they would but you never know these days.

Just looking at it, and i am partial to this view all because its not what its made of but who makes it.

Every piece of equipment uses the same brands of pumps, motors, belts, boilers, burners, fuel pumps, rails, fuel tanks, frames, and so on. Its all about who puts it together. The quality that we look for as a company is something we can send out tech's with and not have them coming back to the shop holding the burner cover in their hands and the gas can in the other. I want machines i can service regularly, replace whats needed, and not have to worry about the thing falling apart but also not spend 10,000 on each skid.

Pressure pro buys their boilers and frames from Alkota then assembles them cheaply ( skid models I know not sure about hot boxes) which is the case with this company i am sure as well but maybe not Alkota. They all use either a brigs, kohler, or honda engine mostly, all use a general pump, cat, or in the case of landa a proprietary pump made for them. The real difference is in the small stuff like how they attach the controls to the frame, or the bolts used to secure the burner to the frame, engine to the frame, lineing up the pump and shaft, or the hose they use for bypass and connections on the skid.

I have alot of problems with alot of manufactures but there is a reason we get what we pay for just as our customers do. Are we hacks becasue we purchase a poorly built Pressure Pro machine vs. Custom build (ala Jim) or Landa (good products built well, but $$$$) or are we the same as our customers wanting to find that perfect match of quality and price

IMO, buy from someone who will be there for you after the sale. You can buy a skid cheap, but if you need somthin you are SOL. You truly get what you pay for. Buy a skid that you can afford first off, check out all you options, like finacing and leasing. Theres alot of vendors on here that have great skids and reputations. and they got them by being there after the sale. I went with a Landa because they are the only PW store in all south TX.(wet) and didnt want to order one online because i wouldnt be able to take it to a direct shop to service it.
