My wife said I work to much .. The counselor is like is that the only problem ... She said yep... Wow I thought I was doing something wrong .. The counselor suggested to my wife , why dont you just let him work... She told the counselor , but he works at night about 25 hours a week.. The counselor said her husband works 50 hours a week.. So before we left I paid 65.00 dollars and the couselor said we will see you next week .. My wife said no you won't we are going to find someone who agrees with me .. that 25 hours a week is to long to be away from home...

Now why did I get married ????????

Simple answer...take her with you. :D

I am glad to see it is not just me. I do my best to do any computer work, billing, bids, etc on the nights I am not working, after the wife and kids are in bed. This seems to be a problem as well. I guess maybe it is the curse of the self employeed, home business individual.

My best friend had the same sort of experience - if his wife didn't like what the counselor said - she went and kept looking until she found one that agreed with her - what a load of crap. I once talked with this really intelligent woman who was a marriage counselor - and she basically told me that marriage is a myth.

JohnB....

....Is this a real story?? I started out thinking it would be a joke---now I'm not sure?

If that is true, let me count my blessings for not being married. That is truly nuts---nobody should have to endure anything like that---that is just plumb crazy.

I'm sure it's true. Have you not seen the posts about his wife and en laws.

They are all crazy, you just gotta find the one you think is the least.

Count your blessings for not being married:confused: You would have to move to Mass or Cali, thats the only states the allow Gay, Conservative, Nazi's to get married :p LOL

Fife someday you're going to find a women and you'll take the leap, it took me 40 years, but I got a good one, perfect NO, real good yes.

John B tell her to stop complaining and shut up, say it over and over to her until it sinks into her head, that you are doing what you're suppose to be doing. I wont put up with my wife complaining about my biz. It gives us a nice life and I tell her you're complaining about that. It took her a year or so to figure it out and she very rarely complains anymore. Train them well

Yep its true.. Her last name was Roan before we got married ... Thus B&R ... Anyways I got home and found out I left my cellphone here .. 7 calls missed.. Now I am booked solid next week... I think in my experience of being married for 13 years ... women want you to make just enough money to buy what they think you should have and enough to buy them what they want... This means that when you have made enough you should stop working until you need money again.. If you continue to work then you are a workaholic.. However on a brighter note I took my daughter to cheerleading practice this afternoon and she is going to be one heck of a cheerleader... I also think its time for a new shotgun...

My wife always says to do my best, don't work to hard, save for a raining day. She dose not like the 23 to 27 hour nights. She is afraid for my heart.

For some of you who do not know, I had a heart episode after working 26 hrs straight. In the Hospital for 5 days. Doc says break the hours up in 2 or 3 days. In my line of work, that is sometimes impossible. I now have a general manager who I really rely on for those long hours.

When I was in my 20's, long physical hours, no problem, but not know.
