Welcome Gary Mauer to the Site , industry window cleaning Vetran

Ron,
Thanks for the warm welcome.
I must say I'm impressed with this place, and I want to pitch in where I can.

Me?
I started cleaning windows about 34 years ago - spent my last $27 on some stuff.
Next day I earned $5 of that back cleaning windows at the LaBelle Shoes store here in Oconomowoc.
Took me about 90 minutes - I didn't leave until I had it right.
Made such an impression they never hired me back, but so what - I'm still around, and they went out of business 30 years ago.

Pretty much self taught - the first 10 years I hardly ever met another window cleaner who'd actually share anything.
In 1989 I went to Jim and Jacinda Willingham's seminars in Lubbock, Texas - the one where the IWCA was formed.
Didn't know anyone - but it was a revelation - dozens of window cleaners who actually wanted to talk to each other.
Somehow got asked to be on the first Board of Directors, all of a sudden started meeting many window cleaners, and within a few years started ane email forum that's been running for nearly 16 years.
That's chapter one. I'll finish some other time.

Ron mentioned the new Window Cleaning Network group on Facebook.
It's going well - 117 members in less than 3 weeks - you're all welcome.

You can join and/or check out who else has joined here
www.facebook.com/groups/windowcleaningnetwork/
Or you can search Facebook – but don’t let autocomplete throw you off – keep typing "Window Cleaning Network" until you see the Red pin

Gary
