Welcome back.
As many of you are aware the PWI Bulletin Board was hijacked by an unscrupulous individual late yesterday afternoon. As soon as it was noticed Ron Musgraves contacted Mike Howerton who spent an unknown amount of time rebuilding the site. It appears that at the same time he upgraded us to the latest version of VBulletin (v 3.5.1).

I personally would like to thank Ron and Mike for quickly taking the needed steps to recover the board.
 
It was the G00ns! They are a famous (or infamous) group of hackers that by there own admission exist to ruin your online experience. Here is a little blurg from their "About Us" page:

"g00ns is a invite only commmunity. We are not a clan of any kind. Our goal is to ruin your fun online. Why do we do this you ask? Because its fun, because we can, because we want to, because we fucking hate you. Thats right, most people reading this are fucking morons, and your number increase steadily. In simple terms we gain pleasure from your misfortune. Your anger and frustration fuel our fun. The angrier you get the more fun we have. We hope this page will explain our intentions a little better. If not then fuck off."

I don't think the attack was targeted at this site in particular, from what I understand, bulletin boards are fairly simple to hack.
 
Thanks for bringing everything back. I noticed it yesterday but didnt know how to contact Ron outside of the site.

What a bunch of childish individuals. With a mission statement like that when they get busted, it will be harsh.

You might want to resize the logo in your signature, it is very hard to click on a 1x1 pixel logo.
