Web sites do work.....

I have got some of my biggest and best jobs from people finding my website, I am very happy I have a website.
 
I am trying to do my own website. Probably a very poor choice but we will see when it is finished. But after looking at Russ Spence's (and his website fricken rocks!!)and a few others I think it may be money well spent to have Keith or someone more knowledgeable than myself to do it. Heck, I still cant figure this Atari out...bahhahaha. I heard they dont even make them anymore :eek:

I tried to make my own website multiple times. Some people on here have the skills to do a great job and some don't. Personally I do not have the skills to make a professional looking site. After talking to Chris, Don, and Barry I choose to seek professional help from web first creations. For the money I spent I have doubt I will get my return on investment. I have had 3 emails since it went live around christmas where the temp. has been below 25.

I never got any hits from my website but it was only about $-10-$20 a month so it was no big deal. i own about 4 domains that are like by bizz too. I sold one for $500. and i bought a lot of other domains and have sold only 1 but it just renewed them all well see how things go this year. i need to get my site up and running though.
 
Hahaha! I have a web site that some on these BB's thinks kinda sucks but I'm here to tell you. I get most all of my NEW business from it, I get compliments from customers all the time on how easy it is to navigate thru and they love all the before & after pictures and it also ranks extreemly high on all local searches. I used freewebs.com for my site and did it myself.. Doesnt cost a thing.. When I first made it it was 3 pages .. I handed out business cards that had the web address on it .. now I have had about 3000 visitors and I have got about 30 accounts off of it .. Not bad for about 3 days work www.freewebs.com/brserviceplus
 
I made mine myself as you can tell, but like some of you I get alot of business off of it. As a matter of fact all of my bigger projects have come from my webpage. I would love to have it professionally done,but I think its serving it's purpose right now so I'll look into that a little later.
If I had to keep only one piece of marketing matieral it would without a doubt be the website.
