We need an interior cleaning section

I am going to try one of these Next week

We have an industrial supply that carries a unit like this one .. For about the same price and they usually rent it out .. So I have offered my customer at a small restaurant a free demo on floor cleaning where we will try yet another one of my attempts at building a surface cleaner vac as well as the unit here

I have thought about it. A few of my customers have asked me about it.

I have one that I have to look at when we get back in town, it is a restaurant that is being redone by a new owner.
hope you have a great time in Panama City, we are on our way to North Carolina for the 4th, we are on the road right now using my new air card, I want to be doing invoices soon from laptop(wife is driving).....I'm a step closer!
have a safe weekend

How many of us clean interior tile and grout and flooring ?? Just wondered ???

We have done and still do interior Kitchen floors and bathrooms. As long as they have good drainage it is pretty easy work..

We are down here right now. The water is pretty nasty due to the jellyfish and seaweed. Don't guess I will be wearing my speedo out on the beech.

I usually hit PCB or Destin in May but we missed it this year due to moving.
Earlier in the season is much better.

You didn't bid on that job we talked about, Ash?

I got a 2500.00 floor cleaning job today at a local hospitol ... no drains over about half of it .. I am waiting on the dietary manager to call me back about cleaning the vent hood and appliances before cleaning the floor.. One trick is that this is all on the 2nd floor ..

We clean interior tile and grout as well as natural stone. We have an electric portable extractor unit that pressure washes and vacuums at the same time. Like a carpet cleaning machine on steroids! The unit uses a small surface cleaner type attachment.

Ceramic tile is pretty easy. Alkaline product for the grease and dirt, acid followup for the grout. Rinse and vacuum with the machine and your good to go. We always seal the grout with a high quality sealer as well.

I bid on it but don't know anything yet. The bid came in around .25cents sq ft. I might have been too high.....we will see.

What are you getting in Hawaii for tile floors?

Scott, I will send you some pics. LOL

$.75-$1.00 sq. ft to clean and $.50 cents to seal grout. These prices are close to national averages. Our target market is high end residential, commercial may be less. Interior work comes with a whole new set of challenges.

Check out www.dirtygrout.com for a good forum on this type of work. A lot of people have specialized truck mounts and do only this type of work.

Chris, do you have a picture, brand name or link for that machine? I would like to see that.

Thanks.

We have the King Cobra model but they have a model called the torrent which is much smaller and lighter, it just doesn't do carpet, but who wants to do carpet anyway!

We also use it when cleaning stone outdoors to keep HF and Ammonium BiFlouride out of delicate plants and pools.
