We cleaned coils at a factory today

We cleaned indoor evap coils at a factory today. Here's the filter we pulled out of the unit before we cleaned it.

The filter was still performing within specs and was pulling over 600 feet per minute in a 900 fpm unit. (It can go as low as 450 or so) This is why I like these filters!

It's a good niche to fill, lots of money to be made.

I took his class he did a great job, you would think he's done many.

That filter sure held a lot, that is amazing Tony.

Thats what i hear, I could set up a class here in Texas for you.. if I could get a big enough class together would you consider coming down here?

John

After hosting a roundtable, I'm not going anywhere for quite a while. ;)

What filters did they have in their units before yours Tony?

Thats a lot of dust. If possible next visit measure the dirty filter weight vs the clean filter dry weight. Would be interesting to see the weight difference.

They used 1 inch disposable pleated filters from Lowes. They changed them between 1 and 4 times PER DAY throughout the facility. Now they pull them down and knock the powder out of them at the end of each day and clean them every Friday. We clean their coils once per year.
