Water Recovery

I got a call this moring for foufr Auto Zones concrete to be washed. They need 98% of the water reclaimed. I called Rowlett, he had a system for 2500 dollars, which sure does sound like alot of money to me. But maybe it is justified. Are there good systems for less money. What all do i need apart from the boom and vaccuum? Also, what kind of price difference can be charged with reclaiming the water?

Hello Dan,

You may only need to collect the water and send it to the sanitary sewer. Here are a couple pictures of what we have done.

Dave, can you dump in a septic? I would imagine all the rural job you get most have septic?

Well neutralize and let temp drop to around 150 and send thru grese trap..

depending on how fancy you want to get, you can do it cheaper than that. My system is really simple, but it works.
I have a double vacuum system. I suck the water int o a 30 gallon drum that is set up for recovery, Use a secondary vacuum for vacuuming, and then there is a sump for automatic pump out. It works pretty well. There are some little things I would change, but it is pretty effective, especially with just one machine running. With two machines, it takes a little sitting and waiting for it to catch up. There are alternatives to that, too.
