Wash Pits or not to wash pit?

Just wanted to pick your brains. Do most of you use portable wash pits were there our no bays to wash in, and or do you wash to the ground on paved/cement surfaces. the reson I ask is that I wonder if I should invest in a wash tarp or just wash to ground with dirt surface????????

I damn the water or use filters in the wells if i can.

When i washed fleets everyone was intalling wash pads. thats the main reason i do fleet work anymore...

I use a vacuum recovery system. Whether or not you need a washpit depends on the local government and or the company that you are planning on working for. I would find out their requirements before I did anything.
