Wal-Mart

I wasn't aware this got out to the public. There are 4,407 locations in the bid and the desire is to have one contractor per state(or more than one state). Nicole for you, there are 80 in Colorado. The requirement is that you provide environmental cleaning. It was supposed to go out in broad distribution on the 15th.

Ok, I am glad that someone knows what I am talking about. Yes they require a complete recovery system as well as other requirments, which we are already in the process of building into our new trailer. We can take care of the state of Colorado - but she mentioned that there may be one or more contractors in the densly populated areas (Denver, I would assume) We could handle the entire state of Colorado and we have a good central location. I am awaiting more information from Donna at WalMart office. Has anyone else been informed of this by emails? I am interested in talking to anyone else that is considering bidding for these packages!

Let me know what they TELL YOU what the price is.

Matt

I am not aware of any current deals, but This is nothing new. They have been doing this for years and each time they get hung up somewhere and all negotiations are off, just to start again later.

Each store is in control of their budget, and schedules service based on the store volume. I have some that are once a month and some that are 3 times a week. Store manager has the final approval and while corporate will say here is a list of companies that we have screened, it is just a guide and nothing else.

Bottom line, is if you provide the service they need and have pricing that fits their budget, you have an account. I have been told of many statewide and national companies trying to get in at my stores and they just can't. Manager says so that's why.
