Well I have just Got Done Shopping....

Amazingly I'm done, The last stop best buy!!! then the wife says opps I need some bacon from Costco....

1800.00 later we didnt get bacon but found a bunch of other stuff she supposdely forgot.

Who else is Happy its almost over.

Now we just have to wait and see if all the kids like there gifts.

I must say I enjoy the spirit but dislike the frenzy we all get into on the shopping side.

Its been awhile since I was in the trenches shopping...I'm alive and actually got some great gifts. The Electronics have come down, I almost bought a TV I didnt need.

The best buy I got was Office for the Kids

After a couple years ago when we went into some major (for me) debt over Christmas, we have set a budget. We set the budget at the beginning of the year, then break it down into months and put that money aside throughout the year. By the time we (when I say we, I mean my wife) start shopping we don't use our grocery money or anything so it's no big deal. And if she sees something in July that she wants to get someone, she has that envelope and gets it.

Me? I wait until the 24th, then make a quick trip to Flying J's C-store, then come home and take the duct tape to the presents.. works well for me.

I have the worst patience when it comes to crowds. I rather sit at home and do the point and click shopping instead then I just wait for UPS to show up. Now of course I use the wife's credit card, heaven forbid if I was to use my own when shopping.

I actually did the Duct tape one year with News paper. I want to see if I can find the Old photo's..
