Voting for pwna officers

I also got my ballot today. They expect the votes to be in by Jan.26. Talk about no time. I will fax over my votes to make sure they get it. I agree If Mike doesn't win I would ask for a recount also. At least the voting will take place in Maryland and not Florida. I wonder if Florida will ever be the same when it comes to elections after that last fiasco. Talking about getting a bad reputation.
I got the Candidates list, i didnt get a ballot. HUm

Hey guys what do you expect from Florida anyway, you have Janet Reno and all her old age buddies doing the counting.
They use the finger system, 1 finger, 2 finger, 3 finger 4, thumb, oh that ain't count. 5 finger, 6 finger 7 finger and one more.
They would count toes too but are to fat to bend over.
Now here in Calif. we use the same system but they count dollar bills instead.
So the PWNA sends out ballots and expects them back in 3 days, RIGGED is all I can think of.
Or should I say they don't want any changes and by not giving you time the only ballots that count are already in.
I do think if those ballots just got sent out the blame should go to Andrew Avery as it is his job to be sure things are mailed out in a timely manner.
This post is not intended as a flame nor to start another long drawn out negative about the PWNA, it is part joke and part my opinion.

Interesting, Tom Daughtry is not up for re-election. Chris is that true. just spoke with him on the phone.

Hey Ron, Yeah Tom is on the ballot. His picture was on my ballot.
Remember Tom was in the passed president position 2 years ago then mike was elected pres. now Tom will go off the board unless he gets elected by the members.
Believe me I'am not very happy either with how long it took to get the ballots out (I got mine thurs.) . It's my understanding that the guys running didn't get there resumes' and picture in until a week ago. We have been asking them for about a month.
FYI I am leaving today to Miami for the wood school and the convention, (Driving from Atlanta) This years Board meetings will produce a lot of new and cool stuff. I can't tell you what I want to propose right now. But will in a week or so. I don't have a computer with me so I won't be on-line till I get back.

Something to consider as a major rule with the PWNA voting.
Set a time limit for all the resumes' in by a certain date or it will not be published, only their name would be on the list.
Just like all or most elections, if not in tough luck.
That way the presses are not held up because someone was to busy to mail it in.
That old line " I misplaced it, or I forgot just won't do anymore".
Give them 30 or 60 days to have it in and that would be based on how much time the printer needs to get it all printed and mailed out in a timely matter.
