Vinyl siding question

Anyone else have a problem with dirty water seeping out of the weep holes on the underside of vinyl? Any way to keep this stuff off after rinsing? Would also like to give a great big thanks to all the salty ones who share their time and experience with us little guys (thats me).

Hey Joe,

Usually this happens because your forcing water behind the siding. If your shooting up at an angle or from the side this is bound to happen. So, don't do that..lol
Are you using pressure to clean siding or are you using chemicals to do the work for you? If you have any other questions let us know.

Adding to Henrys. If the orange/brown seepage stains the vinyl take some oxalic of HF acid and apply diluted with a brush then rinse, VOLAA stains gone.

Thanks for the replies Henry and Richard. I use an x-jet to apply a bleach, dawn, tsp, and wax mixture then rinse with the x-jet also. If I am doing something wrong please let me know what to change. This isn't a stain it's just dirt/water that seeps out after rinsing. Looks bad.

It's probably just mud... from wasps or when the siding was installed. Try backing away from the house a bit more and see if that helps.. This will change the angle your hitting the siding at and should stop water from shooting under it. Also make sure your not shooting against the siding over lap.

Joe,
I have had the orange/brown seepage stain the siding a couple of times and after it dried the only way to remove it was to use acid. Just letting you know a trick of the trade.

I get them when I use to much pressure... I am muck more careful when throwing water and detergents up on a house,, I often use an 6 or 8 foot extension wand to get my nozzle higher "to throw water on the house as opposed to up on the house" Also a real light rinse after you are done may help... I got called back twice earlier this year for thes tains.
