Hello, I just wanted to share something that has worked well for me. We are all looking for repeat business. Two months ago I started making video reports for all my first time coil cleaning customers. the impact is so great that all but one of the customers I've sent the videos to have agreed to annual cleaning.
Sometimes there is much more impact when the customer can see before and after side by side. Plus, using simple software that comes with windows you can dial in the brightness and contrast for the most dramatic effect.
For my videos I use a Canon S3is still camera that takes 640x480 videos at 30fps. I can take 1 hour of great quality video on each 8 gig card. For editing I simply use Windows Movie Maker. It's fast and easy.
We made the video below yesterday. My son and I cleaned filters from 16 units (32 filters) + 4 evaporator coils. For that we were paid $300 (filters) + $480 (coils) for a total of $780. We finished the job in 2 hours flat, including the time to stop and make a total of about 30 minutes of video (some of which will become instructional for employees) Then when I got back to the office I spent about 30 minutes making the video report you'll see below.
