Anyone know where to get the airtight electical connectors used on a vacuum barrel with a sump pump in it?? I can't seem to find any.
I got mine at Home Depot, forgot what they call them but they are in the electrical section.
Making your own vacuum or recovery rig?

Yeah I already had the vacuum, it's a Dayton 1VGH2 I got it from a pawn shop here for $99.00. It cost $950.00 at Grainger. I found the Barrel on Craigs List for $20.00. It has the removable top with a seal in it. It was used for Canola oil. I got all the plumbing parts at a local hardware store for $30.00. I'll post a pic when I get the sump pump worked out.

WW Grainger part numbers 5D884 & 5D885, Description: Strain Relief Connector, Two sizes are for different size wire sizes. They are made of corrosion resistant nylon. You can add silicone gasket sealant if you wish. List Price: $8.30
Nice work, looks good.
You may want to secure the sump somehow, when you are traveling down the road it will bounce around and more that likely break some of those fittings or the float.
Danny, where did you get that filter bag?
