Using surface cleaner on decks

I have a question regarding surface cleaners for you wood guys. Do any of you use a surface cleaner to clean decks/fences? If you had one with nozzles large enough to lower the PSI sufficiently, wouldn't that increase your speed cleaning the flat surfaces? If you bought one of the small surface cleaners that go on the end of a wand and increased the nozzle size, wouldn't that make fence cleaning go faster?

I've always found it necessary to wash with the grain of the wood.

What happens when the spinning motion comes across the grain of the wood?

Seems as though it would be less desirable.

Probably works best when you're stripping a deck and minimum pressure is required....................versus a deck that is just dirty and you have to really be meticulous.

the only way

i might do it is if some of the local marinias wanted the docks done. Just wanted them cleaned.
Dont think it's worth the time savings to do homeowner deck's.

I might try it on my friends deck this spring just to see what would happen. The deck is going to be rebuilt, so it will be a good time to try some different things. I will post some pictures .

I think it would be worth it, If you had about 5,000 sq ft of flat to do.... If you had just a standard deck it would take longer...

I think if you did a search about this very subject, I do believe it worked great, If I remember right....
