Some distributers rate them at 2700 psi , 3000 psi and 3500 psi. Is there a difference? I know they are rated by the flow rate. But are there different rating for psi?
It seems like this year I have gone thru more than normal.
I run k-7's at 3200 psi with no problems. Have had the same ones for 2 years, over 800 hours, they still work great! Maybe you got ahold of a bad run of them.
From the Interpump (owners of General Pump USA) catalogue the K7 series unloader is rated at 200 bar/2900-3000 PSI. The 7.0 is rated to 2.9 GPM, 7.1 to 4.22 GPM, 7.2 to 6.6 GPM and teh 7.3 to 10.83 GPM.
I recieved an update from General Pump on the K7 stating that they re-evaluated the acceptable pressure rating to 3500 psi. They also rated the General TS2021 Pump at 3500 psi.
