I have been thinking about uniforms... When we clean vent hoods we usually show up in old clothes,, Not to proffesional.. We do a good job but we just need to look more proffesional.. I have been thinking about getting some screen print t-shirts or maybe some iron on patches made but they are just so damn expensive for the artwork.. Does anyone know of a good place online that want rip me off on the art work .. We all usually wear old dikies pants and dikies shirts but just need the B&R Logo on them at least.. We tried Cintas but they are way to high...

Not for shirts or logo stuff, but you say you buy Dickie pants. Check this place out for CHEAP$$$ uniform pants. Its all I buy for my guys, like $4 for a pair of pants and they really last forever and dont bleach out, they will stain a little but no bleach holes at all. We do the gray pants and then we have logo'd ash gray T shirts. Some of these pants are a couple years old and still in fine shape

The pants run slightly small. I dont really like the work shirts, you can ask the to remove the old name patches but they usually still have crap on them. They might be OK for you greaser guys, for the price you can just throw them out every couple days

Just a question do the shirts have other companies logos on them OMG... Anyway I am ordering pants ,,,, LOTS OF PANTS

If you request they will take the patches off, but theres still adhesive left behind and all the shirts are miss matched.

the gray work coats were alright, no patches on the few I got, but make sure you ask

Do you have any local t-shirt shops? I brought an online estimate in to one here and they beat the price by 5% if I bought them the same day. It saved me the 5% plus the shipping costs, and I had them the next day. Could have had them the same day, but I went in at 7:00 pm. Oh yeah, they also waived their logo set up fee.
They don't keep polo's in stock so they wouldn't budge on the price for them, but I believe I got a decent deal on the t-shirts.

sometimes you have to find out the name brand of the t shirt. some are so thin they rip easily and others last a long time. sometimes more money means better quality! it sounds like you got a good deal.

John...I've recently bit the bullet and went with Aramark as my uniform company. They take really good care of me service wise and it's nice not doing laundry anymore. Me and my guys look professional and to me that makes it worth every penny. They run about $12/week per guy. I have like 12 pairs of shirts and pants and also got 3 pairs of coveralls at this price. They have our names and my company logo on them...

Im going to check into that too.. 12.00 a week isnt bad.. I think I had called Cintas at one time and they were a little more expensive ..but I may try aramark like you say..., The Cleaning them for you is definetly a plus... Wait till they see mine ..LOL.. For some reason I get more nasty on the job than my help.. It has always been this way... I guess I just attract grease.. Well those uniforms look nice.. By the way what kind of setup charge did they charge you for the intial logo and names on the uniforms ?

I think it was $150, but they waved the intial setup fee, so it was $0.00 to get started. I had to buy ever how many patches that I wanted from the git-go and they were $2/piece. (logo patches only) They pay for the name though.

I'm a dirty fool too and my wife loves me not screwing up her washer and dryer anymore ;)
