Unger Milestone

Unger tools are better that's one way to succeed.
I don't like a few just due to personal preference but I'm about to build a whole new tool set for myself 100% Unger. My Kit has 75 squeegees so it's a load.
 
Years ago I didn't really like Unger tools, but lately I'm very impressed with their Ninja line of products. For convenience I use their Hydropower DI system for pure water window cleaning. They are a class outfit.
 
Yepvsorbo channels are way better than the ninjas. Haven't had a problem with the clips slipping yet but they are a pita on residential glass especially sliding doors. Really like the handles, scraper, and boab thou. Sorbo channels fit nice in the ninja handles.
 
I use the Hydropower because it is extremely convenient, not the most efficient system (even though they claim it is one of the best out there). It's as simple as ordering replacement bags from my supplier and replacing the old ones. Less than 10 minute process.
For me it beats a 110 mile round trip 3 or 4 times a season to get a resin regen.
 
On channels I have ettore cut at 1/4 inch increments up to 16". I have Sorbo cut at 1/2 inch increments from 15.5" up. ECCEPT THE WORLDS MOST IMPORTANT SIZE SQUEEGEE 18.75" if you don't have one you don't know what you're missing
This year I'm going to replace my ettore brass set with Unger clipless. It's amazing that ettore owned the business 15 years ago and just watched it go away. Last with an ergo handle ec....
Stopped using the Sorbo scrapper when they put a hinge in it. After that I started using my Unger more and started shifting to their products.
 
i guess above should have gone here. Didn't know I could use the Unger handle with Sorbo channels. I'm guessing they will hold up better and feel better.

My favorite Sorbo size was the 26". I actually had some storefront panels where it was a perfect fit.

Rodger, are you using the Ninja scraper or some other, now?
 
I always used the Unger 4" razor for construction cleaning so I just started using it for everything after the evil hinge showed up on the Sorbo.

BTW Pella and a lot of companies have stock windows that a 18.75" squeegee will make single pull, 23" also. And I do a lot of Pella.
 
Unger handle Sorbo channel

OHHHH MAN! Amazing. I got a 30 and 40 degree Unger handle for my Sorbo channels and it is amazing. Just used the 40 degree yesterday trying the 30 degree on the next job. Was WAY easier to close out the end of the pull agains the edge or bottom. Great for a pinch grip ec....
