Roundtable Host 2009
This may be long but I have to say this:
I Have been a member of UAMCC for less than a year now and I have nothing but good things to say. I was in Orlando for the round table event and I met so many guy and gals both members and non members looking to meet up. One gentleman in particular was saying how he doesn't feel the UAMCC to him is wort it. Quote, " there is not enough muscle behind the logo" I was so pissed because I thought to myself a logo is a representation. The UAMCC is the driving force that moves us. We will not be better contractors or make more money just because we have a logo on our sleeve. EDUCATION. I was at a networking event in lake Mary Florida last night. Funny how no one knew the UAMCC. but when i got a chance to explain they were impressed, and they had a lot of questions about my work and The famous question of what makes you different than the other guy. This is where I had the wisdom to explain in detail the benefits of hiring a UAMCC contractor. I got the knowledge from the UAMCC and I applied it. Applied knowledge is wisdom!!!! I met a fox news anchor there and we talked about getting info on the uamcc on the news to make people aware that we are true professionals. We also spoke about at times they need expert advise on news worthy situations. UAMCC knowledge at work again. I don't remember the gentleman's name but if you read this I hope you joined, if not you are missing out. Keep a journal of all the needless things you buy and when you reach the amount equal to the membership fee, slap yourself.**************just sayin
