TV Commercials

Looking into doing some TV ads. Anyone that has more experience in this than me please share some info. Best times to air? Content info? Whatever you got I'm listening.

I've been writing up content all day. Really hard to get the whole message across in 30 seconds. May switch to 60 second ads.

You know this I am sure but, Visual Visual Visual...Show lots of Before/After pics or video of jobs in progress. People buy on TV based on what they see, not what they hear. Do the voice overs yourself Guy, you'd be great at it and customers love seeing the owner/person they'd be dealing with. Watch a lot of commercials and time them and compare to what your trying to do. IMO 60 seconds would be to long. 30 seconds is perfect. Concentrate on 1 maybe two points and get that point(s) across.

Guy, Do you have a local news at 10 pm? My wife and I both watch very different tv shows, both get up early and seem to always watch at least a little of the 10 pm news. Just a thought on timing. Good luck with it, let us know how it works out!

Doug, couldn't agree more. Yes I plan on being in front of the camera, not a vanity thing I don't care about that, but we provide a "Personal Service" and I want to make a "Personal Connection" with the demographic I'm targeting.

Yes, VISIBILITY, I preach this all the time, and is a cornerstone of our business.

Jeremiah, we will be running 3 different commercials on several different cable stations, but yes there will be some aired before or during the news.

i did a spot for my mother-in-law years ago for her tuxedo business. it's funny but no body noticed my fly was down until it aired.

Guy I sent you a PM w some video on it did you get it? I Dont see it my sent files. It is of a local Home Services company and they air 14 second commercials. Has been working great for them.
