Truck Tires

On my FX4 I have 17 inch tires.. I have been hearing this whiring kind of sound lately out of what I think to be either the front end or the front Tires.. They are Summit A/T Radials.. So I went to the Goodyear place the other day and he said it was in fact the tires but if it were him he would contact summit because the tires looked fairly new.. I bought this truck about 4 months ago ( remember ) so I went back to the auto place where I bough it and he said the truck had new tires put on it by them in May.. Thats one month before I bought it..The dealer guy said that it may be worth it to take some photos and send to summit to see if they would warranty the tires that are bad.. I also found out that these tires cost anywhere from 125.00 to 200.00 dollars a peice.. WOW... So I guess the main ????? is what tire too buy if Summit will not cover this... I have been to Walmart and the carry a Goodyear Trac 2 /OWL 265/70/17 for 132.00 each ..
 
If you can stomach the cost buy Michlein. They are the best.
 
If you have a place that can mount them you might look here http://www.treadepot.com/ I buy a lot of tires here and they ship them to me < but I have a tire changer and balancer, we do all our own tires on our trucks because we only get 8 to 10 Thousand miles out of them on our sweepers, so we change them all the time. It should cost about 80 to 100 to mount them up or there is all ways Costco if you have one around they have specials going all the time with the purchase of 4 tires you get a coupon from the tire company for you purchase and they give you a discount on them.
