Remember the old days when credit cards used to come in the mail?
I haven't gotten one of these in a few years but the bank says they would take this check because there is nothing to indicate is is not for deposit and it passes all the security functions.
One time I got a check like this from another company for 5k and deposited it just to see what would happen. It cleared and they sent me terms for 21%. I sent them 5k back after calling them and never heard from them again.
I thought they couldn't send out unsolicited funds anymore.
