Tree sap on a tennis court....

Is there anyway to clean tree sap off of a tennis court without using a pressure washer?

The condos whos roof we cleaned recently wants us to clean their tennis courts, but are worried that the paint is old and afraid that the pressure washer will take off the paint. I dont think it can be cleaned with a PW, but I dont know. We offered a demonstration in an inconspicuous area, but they declined.

Any advice??

Sounds tricky Scott, is the sap dried up or still have some moisture content to it?

The only thing I could think of is Hot water as the first go.

How old/bad is the paint?

It is possible that the pH and or chemical composition of the sap may have damaged the paint and when you remove the sap it just exposes the already damaged surface coating. Or maybe not.

A tennis court should never be cleaned with pressure i would try a housewash mix first and rinse with hot water
